Mindfulness in Coaching
Mindfulness does exactly what it says on the tin! It teaches us how to be mindful of where we are at any given moment, to step back from the busyness of life and pay attention to how our bodies feel, to what we're thinking and how we're feeling emotionally.
Mindfulness encourages us to be compassionate towards ourselves and others and accepting and appreciative of where we are in life. It also teaches us how to physically relax and develop a more positive mindset.
Mindfulness practice involves relaxation, breathwork, meditation and yoga.
At Bright Future we use mindfulness as a staple part of our coaching process.
We find teaching children simple mindfulness techniques has many, many benefits! It supports them in self-calming, helps to create an effective sleep routine, improves their concentration and patience, encourages them to feel good about themselves and others and improves their mental health and emotional well-being.
Mindfulness for Schools
Bright Future has run a number of successful mindfulness projects in schools.
We can work with individual pupils, groups, whole classes and the whole school, including staff and parents.
With our own unique programme of progressive learning resources and teaching material from nursery to P7, we offer staff training, modelling and support ensuring mindfulness becomes a key part of health and well-being in your school!

Mindfulness for Adults
At Bright Future we also have a passion for supporting adults to develop their own unique set of positive life skills.
We run mindfulness programmes for individuals and groups and also offer online mindfulness courses, including specialist projects such as 'Mindfulness in sport - deepening the connection between mind and body'.
